This method can be used for soft tissue procedures such as tumor removals, spays and neuters.
Pre-Surgical Pet Safety
Any pets that will be having surgery at our animal hospital must undergo a thorough physical evaluation and diagnostic testing to screen for health problems. Our goal is always to reduce the potential risks associated with anesthesia as much as possible. We also implement stringent pain management protocols to keep your pet’s discomfort to an absolute minimum. Patients may receive absorbable or nonabsorbable sutures, depending on their procedure.
